TIPS TO AVOID HOLIDAY WEIGHT GAIN

 

The holidays are a wonderful time of the year where we get together with family and usually involve a really big meal. It also makes many people worry about putting on extra pounds. Here are some tips on how to fully enjoy your Holiday dinners, while avoiding packing on weight in the meantime.

PREPARE YOUR BODY

You can prepare your body for a big meal and reduce the chances of weight gain by skipping meals that you would typically eat earlier in the day. However, you should not let yourself go without fuel. The way to give your body energy without eating is by directing it to use the stored glycogen or fat.
