WHAT DO WE MEAN WHEN WE SAY DIET?

When we say diet, we mean the things that you are habitually eating rather than a program that determines what you eat.

This isn't a topic that most people like to talk about, but it's really important. Luckily, with Fastercise, diet is very intuitive and without having to think about it too much, you can get really great results.

Diet Tips to Manage Your Weight

1. Before eating, push off your hunger with exercise.

Exercising, or doing exercises like shivering, before every meal allows you to use the fat stored in your body as fuel to keep you going. You’re not starving yourself, you’re just directing your body to use the food it already ate. Then, when you get hungry again, you eat until you're satisfied, no more, no less.

2. No snacking during the day.

Snacking during the day throws off the body’s metabolic cycle. By only eating two or three times a day, and pushing off hunger between meals with exercise and drinking water, it will be much easier to lose weight.

3. Drink a gallon of water a day.

That might sound like a lot, but drinking a lot of water is very important, not only to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but also if you want to lose weight. If you don't get enough water, you're not going to burn enough fat. You may struggle to drink this much water initially but your body will balance out and it will get easier.

4. Eat whole foods.

Eat as many whole foods as you can and avoid any refined starches, sugars, or things that come in a box or can. The body is designed to break food down to get nutrients and these foods are much easier to break down. With natural foods like grains, fruits, and vegetables, your body has to work really hard to extract nutrients. But with refined foods, they're already broken down making it easier to absorb the nutrients and gain more weight. So the body stores the nutrients for another time as fat.

5. Take electrolytes every day.

When you’re following all these tips, or on a keto diet you can start to feel down and possibly sick. This is just because your electrolytes are too low. By resupplying your body with electrolytes, specifically magnesium, potassium and salt you won’t suffer any negative emotional or physical effects.
